I'm a registered psychologist specializing in child psychology, individual therapy, and family counselling. I provide support with a range of concerns, including parenting, divorce and separation, anxiety, social difficulties, school-related concerns, grief and loss, ADHD, autism, trauma, sleep and insomnia, and emotional regulation. I've also completed training in EMDR therapy, CBT-I for insomnia, and trauma-focused frameworks to support individuals and children who have experienced trauma.
I use an integrated approach, focusing on attachment and emotional processing while drawing on a variety of techniques to suit each individual. I value each client's unique qualities and work with them to develop their strengths and meet their goals. Children engage best through play, so I incorporate games and activities to help them have a positive experience with counselling.

My work is grounded in an attachment-based, trauma-informed, and client-centred approach, with a strong focus on the role of the nervous system in our emotional and relational experiences. I support people experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, grief and loss, and the impacts of sexual violence, as well as those navigating life transitions and relationship concerns. I also have a strong focus on strengthening caregiver–child relationships.
With children and families, I often incorporate play-based and relational interventions — including Synergetic Play Therapy and Theraplay-informed practices — to support connection, co-regulation, and felt safety. With adults, I draw from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) alongside client-centred and strengths-based approaches to support deeper self-understanding and more secure relationships with self and others.
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Child Studies from Mount Royal University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I view therapy as a collaborative process — one that honours your story, builds on your strengths, and supports meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of counselling, I enjoy time with my husband, our daughter, and our two cats, cozy movie nights, travel, meaningful conversations, and the quiet moments that remind me to slow down.

I'm a clinical child and teen psychologist with more than 16 years of experience, including my PhD and clinical internship completed in Ohio. I have a particular passion for working with athletes — I hold a Graduate Certificate in Sport and Performance Psychology and I'm an Apprentice Mental Performance Consultant, which allows me to support the whole athlete, both as a person and as a performer. I offer sport psychology support for athletes ages 9–25, and broader youth and young adult mental health support for ages 12–25.
I love helping athletes strengthen their confidence, manage pressure, work through performance anxiety, and develop the mental skills needed to perform at their best — while also supporting the mental health concerns that can exist alongside competitive sport, like perfectionism, identity, burnout, and fear of failure. Being a mother to two athletes makes this work especially meaningful to me.
